Michael Andre-Driussi I was born in 1962. First twenty years or so spent in various towns of Southern California, from the desert to the beach and points inbetween. In high school and after I worked at a general bookstore, then I had a few years as a screen extra (walking around in the background, mostly in tv shows, a few movies), did a bit of travelling abroad (Virgin Islands, Hong Kong, Japan). Went to college at Berkeley, got a BA in English Literature; taught English to junior high school students in rural Japan for two years. Upon returning to the States, I dove into research for my (Gene Wolfe reference) book Lexicon Urthus, and eventually self-published it; at which point I was also pouring a lot of energy into a small press magazine called Aberrations. After a few years the magazine shut down.
