We truly live in exciting times. For publishers, artists, distributors and authors the unexpected (and welcome) advent of print-on-demand publishing promises to change the way books are made and sold. No longer restricted by large financial investments, storage costs and the threat of high returns, publishers can now experiment and take chances in the marketplace.

It is an opportunity not to be missed -- and isn't being.

Launched in January 2001, Cosmos Books relaunched with a full book programme and aims to quickly become a significant player. Originally established in 1979 by Philip Harbottle, Cosmos Books was later revived by the partnership of Harbottle and Sean Wallace, and is now part of John Gregory Betancourt's Wildside Press, with Wallace as Senior Editor.

With worldwide distribution channels through Ingram International and print-on-demand printing technology by Lightning Print, Cosmos Books publishes a mixture of British, American and Australian sf and fantasy in trade paperback and hardcover editions.

The impressive line-up includes reissues, new novels, collections and non-fiction from authors such as Barrington Bayley, Keith Brooke, Eric Brown, Chris Butler, John Christopher, Adrian Cole, Paul Collins, Paul Di Filippo, Philip High, David Langford, John Grant, Paul Park, Sarah Singleton, Charles Stross, Brian Stableford, EC Tubb, Alice Turner, Jeff VanderMeer Colin Wilson and more.
